Cuisine bourgeoise du Midi
La Sirène SoHo
La Sirène SoHo is the original downtown room: intimate, softly lit, and built around homemade French cooking. After running a restaurant on Rue Lepic in Montmartre, Chef Didier moved to New York, transforming this location from a barber shop into a small bistro beginning in 2007, and gradually expanding with acquisition of the adjacent rooms.
The kitchen centers generous southern French dishes, sauces made with patience, and the kind of dining room rhythm that rewards a long dinner amid a quaint Continental ambiance.
Lastly, don't miss our BYOB offering. Didier first opened La Sirène BYOB-only until he could acquire a liquor license, and kept it in place even afterward. It remains one of the most competitive BYOB offerings in Manhattan, available Sunday through Thursday with no corkage fee. See our FAQ for details.
