La Sirène SoHo is the original downtown room: intimate, softly lit, and built around homemade French cooking. After running a restaurant on Rue Lepic in Montmartre, Chef Didier moved to New York, transforming this location from a barber shop into a small bistro beginning in 2007, and gradually expanding with acquisition of the adjacent rooms. The kitchen centers generous southern French dishes, sauces made with patience, and the kind of dining room rhythm that rewards a long dinner amid a quaint Continental ambiance. Lastly, don't miss our BYOB offering. Didier first opened La Sirène BYOB-only until he could acquire a liquor license, and kept it in place even afterward. It remains one of the most competitive BYOB offerings in Manhattan, available Sunday through Thursday with no corkage fee. See our FAQ for details. ### La Sirène UWS Cuisine française maison, décontractée. La Sirène UWS brings the group uptown with a brighter all-day bistro cadence, adding lunch and brunch service to the same southern French point of view as our original SoHo location. First opened in 2018 (one decade after its older sister), this bistro has earned the esteem of neighborhood regulars, and functions well as a room for a midday pause, a celebratory dinner, or a weekend table that lingers. ### Margaux by La Sirène Brasserie élevée. Margaux by La Sirène is the polished Madison Avenue expression of the group, composed around a quieter room, sharper service, and a more refined table. The latest in the family, this restaurant opened in 2025, keeping Chef Didier's same artisanal core menu, with some expansions and rotating plats du jour to offer a broader taste of the French repertoire. Margaux also boasts Chef Didier's first-ever cocktail bar. The bar is adjacent to the Grand Salon and offers a rotating selection of craft cocktails (see the menu below), as well as bespoke cocktails whipped up à la minute for you by our mixologists. ### Taureau Fondue intime. Taureau is the group's fondue house, designed around shared pots, long tables, and the ceremony of cooking together. The experience is warm, direct, and communal: cheese, broth, chocolate, wine, and the particular energy of a SoHo room built for groups. ## Venue Pages - [La Sirène SoHo](https://lasirene.nyc/soho/): Since 2007, Chef Didier's La Sirène SoHo has served Southern French bistro classics on Broome Street, with French wines and weekday BYOB. -
